Rebecca Evans
Rebecca Evans began her professional career in 1996 working as a contractor for the United States Air Force Dual Use Science and Technology program. She assisted with the management of this $40M program designed to share the cost of research and development between a US business and the Air Force. The result was split in the intellectual property for which the business could take the product or process and generate income and the Air Force or other Department of Defense Agency could utilize the technology if and when it was needed.
In 2003, she took a position at Kent State University as the Administrator of the Financial Engineering program and Director of the Asia Pacific Futures Research Symposia. As Administrator of the Master of Science in Financial Engineering she is responsible for all non academic issues. As the Director for the symposia series she coordinates all aspects of the event to make it a benefit to all who attend and participate.
Rebecca enjoys long peaceful walks and photography. She lives in Ravenna, Ohio with the youngest three of her five children.
