Every Spring Semester Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation holds Business Concept Competition “Taking the Idea to Real.” Students of any major can share their business ideas with others by writing a short paper describing their business concept. The best papers continue to semifinals where ideas are presented to the judges, seasoned entrepreneurs. The top three winners of the competition receive monetary awards. Below are the winners of our past competitions!



In March 2009 CEBI held its first ever Retail Competition, where students entered their idea of a new Student Run Business that will be located in downtown Kent. The competition was open to any KSU student and any major! The winner of this was awarded $500 and a recognition certificate.
